If you’re a regular podcast listener (and everyone should be), then you know that we have been on American Samoa’s case for awhile, because, out of all the countries and territories in the world where we have listeners, we don’t have any there.
Regardless, we feel that the mere mention of the word “Samoa” in our podcast has brought about a shift in the space-time continuum. Granted, regular Samoa isn’t American Samoa – we get that – but at the end of the day, we don’t have listeners there, either, and maybe they were so shaken by the fact that we mentioned “Samoa”, in general, that they decided to go completely fuck up their work-week, as well as the very timezone in which they live.
Here’s the NPR story:
There Will Be No Friday This Week In Samoa
And a follow up from I Heart Chaos:
Due To Lack Of Interest, Samoa Will No Friday This Week
Special thanks to Live-In Maid for discovering this gem! See, honey? I listen!
