This weekend I read an interesting article over at NYTimes.com about whether it’s fair to “boo” a theatrical performance. Apparently booing is common in the opera world but is a rarity in straight plays or musicals. I’ve sat through some stinkers but I’ve never felt the need for the instant gratification of booing.
After reminiscing about those stinkers, I got to thinking about who would actually boo a live performance. With that on my mind, I started checking some other sites and after a glance at some comments, the answer hit me: Trolls.
